Our client, an all-in-one clinic specializing in chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage services, is seeking a Front Office Receptionist . This temporary position plays a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the clinic by ensuring patients have a positive and seamless experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and compassionate, providing excellent service to both patients and the healthcare team.
Pay: Up to $23/hour (depending on skills and experience)
Schedule: Up to 24 hours per week
Mondays & Thursdays: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Tuesdays: Off
Wednesdays & Fridays: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Duration: Start ASAP – January 1st
Patient Interaction:
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and check them in/out.
Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries in a professional manner.
Schedule appointments and send timely reminders to patients.
Administrative Support:
Assist with medical records requests and audit patient files for completeness and accuracy.
Communicate with the billing department regarding patient accounts and insurance.
Verify insurance information and process claims as necessary.
Ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared for patient visits.
Translation Support (if qualified):
Provide translation for providers as needed.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of recent front office experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
Experience in entering sensitive data with accuracy, following HIPAA compliance standards.
Skills:
Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use various software, databases, and communication platforms.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Proven reliability in attendance and punctuality.
Additional:
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients.
Knowledge of HIPAA policies and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
